Roger D. Price, 47, of Sumner, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Chapel in Sumner with Rev. James Brokman officiating.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Sumner and for one hour preceding services at the chapel on Monday. All are invited to Cub Park in Sumner following services for a time of lunch and fellowship.

Roger D. Price, son of David L. and Vesta Shaw Price, was born November 5, 1965, at Greenville, Illinois. On May 2, 1992, he was united in marriage with Sue Ann Bohne at Jerseyville, Illinois. Roger did factory work, photography, worked for Viafield, Croell Redi-Mix, and was currently employed by Bushman Trucking of Ft. Atkinson. He was a resident of Sumner for the past twelve years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and driving.

In addition to his wife, Sue of Sumner; he is survived by one son, David Joseph “D.J.” Price at home in Sumner; his mother, Vesta Price of Hillsboro, Illinois; and one sister, Teresa (James) Smith of Vandalia, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his father.
